Kodai Cozy Inn Homestay Policy
By confirming your reservation at Kodai Cozy Inn, you acknowledge and agree to uphold these Homestay Policies. For any inquiries or assistance, please contact us directly. Have a pleasant stay!
Availability: All reservations are subject to availability. To ensure you get your preferred dates, we highly recommend booking in advance.
Rates: Rates are quoted in local currency and are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated.
Deposits: In certain cases, a deposit may be required upon reservation. This deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total bill upon check-out.
No-shows: In the event of a no-show (failure to arrive without prior cancellation), the full amount of the reservation will be charged. Non-refundable reservations are automatically considered as no-shows.
Early Departures: If you decide to check out earlier than the agreed departure date, the homestay reserves the right to charge an early departure fee equivalent to one night’s stay.
- Reservation Confirmation: A valid credit card or advance payment is required to confirm your reservation.
- Payment Methods: Payments can be made via cash, credit card, or bank transfer.
- Unmarried Couples: Please note, unmarried couples are not allowed at our homestay.
- Right to Refuse: The homestay has the right to reject a booking if any ID mismatch occurs or any guest misconduct is observed.
Check-in & Check-out:
- Standard Times: Check-in is from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM. Check-out is by 12:00 PM.
- Early Check-in/Late Check-out: These may be possible upon request, subject to availability and additional charges. Please contact the homestay to inquire.
Guest Requirements:
- Identification: All guests must present a valid ID and/or passport upon check-in.
- Minors: Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult during their stay.
- Pets: To ensure comfort for all guests, pets are unfortunately not allowed.
- Deposits: In certain cases, a deposit might be requested for your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable and deducted from your final bill.
- Visitors: Visitors are welcome in the lobby and public areas; however, overnight visitors in guest rooms are not permitted without prior homestay management approval.
- Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages to homestay property. Charges for replacements or repairs may apply.
- Respecting Others: Please be considerate of other guests by maintaining a peaceful environment. Excessive noise or disruptions may lead to a warning or possibly being asked to leave without a refund.
- Lost Items: The homestay is not liable for lost or misplaced belongings. However, we’ll keep found items for a limited time – please ask at the front desk.
- Fire Safety: Open flames, candles, or flammable items are prohibited inside the homestay for fire safety. Please familiarize yourself with the fire evacuation plan in your room.
- Food and Beverages: Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the guest rooms or public areas. We offer dining options to suit your needs.
- Unmarried Couples: To uphold the values of our homestay, we cannot accommodate unmarried couples.
- Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it compromises the safety or well-being of our guests, staff, or property. This includes the right to reject guests if bookings seem suspicious or policies are violated.
- Personal Belongings: Kodai Cozy Inn is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during your stay. Please take care to secure your valuables.
- Accidents and Injury: The homestay is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur on the premises. Please exercise caution when using the homestay’s facilities.
- Guest Safety: You are responsible for your own safety and well-being during your stay.
- Luggage Storage: While we offer complimentary luggage storage, Kodai Cozy Inn assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to stored items.
- Third-Party Services: If we recommend or help arrange external services (like tours or transportation), we do so with the best intentions. However, we cannot be held responsible for the quality of those third-party services. Please research and choose any additional service providers carefully.
- Consent: By sharing your personal information with Kodai Cozy Inn (during booking or check-in), you agree to its use for managing your stay and for future communications, which may include occasional updates or offers.
- Responsible Use: We use your information for essential homestay operations like confirming reservations, processing payments, and sending important stay-related updates. Your data is handled securely and aligns with data protection principles.
- Data Security: We are committed to protecting your data. Your personal information is stored securely and protected from unauthorized access or changes.
- No Unnecessary Sharing: Kodai Cozy Inn respects your privacy. We will not sell, rent, or unnecessarily share your personal information with third parties. We may share information as required by law or to fulfill specific guest requests.
Understanding Changes in Plans
We understand that sometimes plans change, and you might need to cancel or adjust your Kodai Cozy Inn stay. Here’s how our refund policy works:
- Cancellation Policy: When you book, we’ll clearly explain the cancellation policy. This tells you how far in advance you can cancel to get a full refund.

- Refund Options: Depending on your circumstances and when you cancel, we may offer a few options:
- A refund back to the credit card or bank account you used to pay.
- A homestay credit you can use towards a future stay.
- Processing Time: We try to process refunds as quickly as possible. Please note that it may take a few days for the money to show up in your account, depending on your bank.
- Important Note: There might be times when a refund isn’t possible (like cancellations made very close to your arrival or not showing up at all). We’ll always explain those situations clearly when you book.
